Description

This is a horseback wilderness adventure of a lifetime. Here is your opportunity to to harvest a trophy Canadian moose, the goal is to shoot 50+" moose. The elk is a 6 point minimum in this area and the bulls typically are 300" and can go up to 350 " bulls. Everyone will have a wolf tag in their pocket. 10 day hunt with 1x1 guiding, remote cabin accommodations and meals prepared in camp. You'll have a chance to get together with other hunters or your entire group for a few evenings of the hunt.

This is a 10 day three species hunt. Hunting will focus on one species until harvested then move onto the next. Odds are low that you will harvest all three species

Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Description

This is a 10-day hunt with 1x1 guiding. Hunt will be conducted from cabins with the assistance of ATV's and trucks. You will drive to where you are going to hunt and then walk and call throughout the day returning to the comforts of your cabin in the evening.

Remote cabin accommodations. Accommodations Our main camp at Stoney Lake is set up with a lot of modern amenities. Comfortable heated sleeping cabins, good dining facilities, and hot showers. Huguenot Camp is equipped with 4 cabins heated by would stove for hunters and guides. There also is a beautiful log main cabin where everyone eats and gets together talk about the day’s hunt. It is important to be able to get dry and warm, this is a hunt but it is also a vacation.

This can be a physically demanding hunt. You will need to be able to hike a minimum of 2 miles a day in varying terrain. The better physical shape you are in, the more enjoyable your experience will be and the better odds you will have.


Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Book your flight to Grande Prairie Airport (YQU), in Alberta. From here transportation is provided to and from our hunting camps in British Columbia. Please arrive before noon the day before the hunt start date. This allows for ample time to settle in and check rifles before the hunt begins.
